The Mission: Confidence, Compassion, Capability

It’s natural for kids to face challenges in today’s world—from schoolyard bullying to understanding stranger awareness. At Kore, our “First Friday” kids’ sessions are designed to equip your child with the psychological resilience and physical skills to navigate the world confidently. This isn’t about traditional martial arts competitions; it’s about practical, reality-based self-defense.

Taught by our certified youth instructors, this free workshop utilizes play-based, research-backed learning. We believe children learn best when they are having too much fun to realize they are working, helping them build elite-level skills without the pressure.

What We Explore Together

In a high-energy, supportive environment, we focus on the core skills that build true “Kore Confidence”:

  • Bully Management: Age-appropriate verbal and physical responses to emotional and physical bullying.

  • Confident Decision Making: Teaching the ability to stay calm, breathe, and solve problems under pressure.

  • Verbal Boundaries: Learning how to use their voice confidently and assertively to stop conflict before it starts.

  • Stranger Awareness: Empowering children with the skills to recognize and respond to threats from adults without living in fear.
