About Kore Self Defense & Krav Maga
Kore Self Defense is the premier training center for Kore Defense Industries (KDI), located in Loudoun County, Virginia. As a proud Krav Maga Global (KMG) Certified Training Center, our curriculum is rooted in the world-class system developed by Eyal Yanilov. We view Krav Maga as our “hardware” and reality-based self-defense as our “software”—a synergy fueled by continuous research into the dynamics of violence and the psychology of conflict.
Our mission transcends traditional martial arts paradigms; we focus on what is relevant to our students’ safety in the world today. Led by Head Instructor Steven Fisher and founded by Dr. Tammy McCracken, our team works collaboratively with global experts like Chiron Training and Violence Dynamics to ensure our programming remains effective, legal, and current. From elite Krav Maga to specialized fitness and youth leadership, we empower our community to develop the courage, character, and capability to thrive.
