Open Instructor Update with Eyal Yanilov | October 9-11 2026

Krav Maga instructors of all organizations

This October, Krav Maga instructors across the United States have the opportunity to train directly with Eyal Yanilov – one of the most influential figures in the history and development of modern Krav Maga.

One System. Decades of Experience. A Rare Opportunity.

Eyal Yanilov was the closest protégé of Krav Maga founder Imi Lichtenfeld and worked alongside him for decades. He played a central role in developing, systematizing and spreading Krav Maga internationally – personally teaching and certifying many of the first generations of instructors around the world, including in the United States.  Now you have the opportunity to learn directly from him.

And you do not need to be a KMG instructor to attend.

These Open Instructor Updates welcome committed Krav Maga instructors from all organizations and backgrounds who want to challenge themselves, expand their knowledge and continue developing as practitioners and teachers.

Sharpen your skills. Deepen your understanding. Refine your teaching.

Over three intensive days, you will work on technical, tactical and instructional development, with a strong focus on understanding not only what we do – but why we do it.

What will you gain?

  • Train directly with Eyal Yanilov, Head of KMG and one of the world’s foremost authorities on Krav Maga.
  • Refine your technical and tactical abilities according to current developments and standards.
  • Go deeper into the principles, tactics and essence of Krav Maga and how they connect across different problems and situations.
  • Explore developments in self-defense, fighting tactics and third-party protection.
  • Improve your ability to teach, explain and develop students, rather than simply demonstrate techniques.
  • Gain insights into mental training, decision-making and combat mindset and how these can be incorporated into training.
  • Learn from someone who has spent decades developing instructors – not simply practitioners.
  • Train and exchange ideas with fellow instructors from different organizations and backgrounds.
  • Take new concepts, methods and training ideas back to your own students and school.
  • All participants completing the event will receive a Certificate of Participation in the Instructor Update.

Not a KMG Instructor? You Are Welcome.

Good instructors never stop learning.

You may teach under another Krav Maga organization. You may have developed your own school or training methodology. You may simply be curious to experience Eyal’s approach firsthand.

That is exactly why these Instructor Updates are open.
There is no requirement to change organizations and no expectation that you become part of KMG.
Come to learn. Come to exchange knowledge. Come to experience the training for yourself.

Our Confidence. Your Guarantee.

Come. Train. Experience. Decide.

We want you to register because you genuinely want to learn – not because you feel you are taking a risk.

That’s why we offer a simple guarantee:

Attend Day 1. Train with Eyal. Experience the workshop.
If, at the end of the first day, you feel the Instructor Update is not suitable for you, simply let us know.

We will refund your full workshop fee.

No risk. No pressure.
Just come and experience it for yourself.

Reserve your place and train with Eyal Yanilov this October.

Three days can give you ideas, principles, and teaching tools that influence years of training.

If you are serious about continuing to grow as a Krav Maga instructor, we would be pleased to welcome you on the mat.
