Jack Quilantang joined Kore Self Defense & Krav Maga in April 2023, bringing with him a decade of elite experience in global security and intelligence. A graduate of Kore’s year-long Instructor’s College and a member of the Instructor Cadre since January 2025, Jack provides our students with a perspective forged in the highest-stakes environments on the planet.

A Global Legacy of Security & Intelligence

Before joining the Kore mission, Jack served as an active-duty U.S. Marine and a global security contractor, operating across all seven continents. His professional background is a masterclass in diverse tactical disciplines:

Strategic Operations: Extensive experience in personnel management, intelligence, and diplomatic relations across diverse sectors.
Global Security: Managed and executed complex security operations in high-threat environments worldwide.
Technical Mastery: Jack holds a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity Strategy and Information Management from George Washington University and is currently advancing his expertise with a Master’s in Space Operations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Jack’s academic breadth—ranging from a Bachelor’s in Creative Writing to advanced degrees in Cybersecurity and Space Operations—allows him to deconstruct the “software” of self-defense with unique clarity. He is a results-oriented professional who excels at tackling complex challenges, making him an invaluable asset for students who want to understand the strategic and technical logic behind Krav Maga.

Adventurer & Storyteller

Proudly hailing from the island of Guam, Jack is a lifelong adventurer. When he is not on the mats or analyzing orbital mechanics, he is likely hiking the trails of Virginia. He and his wife are currently on a personal mission to summit every mountain in Shenandoah National Park. An avid reader and storyteller, Jack brings an engaging, world-wise energy to every class he leads.
